Intuition vs. pressentiment vs. instinct
While intuition, pressentiment, and instinct can all be translated as a hunch or gut feeling, they are not interchangeable in French. Each word carries a specific nuance related to the source and nature of the feeling, whether it is cognitive, emotional, or primal.
Intuition
