Juste vs. équitable

While both juste and équitable can be translated as just or fair, they are not interchangeable. Juste typically refers to what is right according to a law, a rule, or a principle of merit, whereas équitable implies a sense of impartiality and balance that considers the specific circumstances of each individual.
