Curador vs. conservador
Although both professionals work within museums and galleries to manage collections, they have distinct focuses. Generally, a curador focuses on the artistic, conceptual, and educational aspects (selecting what is shown), while a conservador focuses on the physical well-being, preservation, and cataloging of the objects.

Conservador
C1A conservador (often equivalent to a conservator in English) is responsible for the physical care and management of the collection. They handle cataloging, storage conditions (such as temperature and humidity), restoration, and ensuring the items do not deteriorate over time.
