Gewalt vs. Gewalttätigkeit
While both Gewalt and Gewalttätigkeit can be translated as violence, they are not interchangeable in German. Gewalt is a much broader term that includes the abstract concept of force and power, while Gewalttätigkeit specifically refers to the concrete, physical act of violence.

Gewalttätigkeit
B2Gewalttätigkeit refers specifically to the act or deed of physical violence against people or objects. It is the concrete manifestation of Gewalt. The plural, Gewalttätigkeiten, is frequently used to describe multiple incidents of violence, such as in a riot or a brawl.
